Banwari Shukla, a 67 years old man from the slums of Bhalswa in Delhi, has worked as a missionary all his life. He is poor and tries to save money as he has 7 children. He can't afford to send his daughters to school as that means he has to buy things for school which he does not have enough money for.
During an educational drive done by SK Foundation he approached one of our staff members and told him his story. We assured him that we would help him. Within a few weeks we called him and now he thanks us for what we did for Poonam. Poonam, 6 years old, is the youngest daughter of Banwari Shukla who is provided free education today by Sanjeev Kumar Foundation.
